Contra-Indications

At V&K Body Sculpting Studio, your safety is our priority. While non-invasive body contouring treatments are generally safe, there are certain contra-indications (factors that make a client ineligible for treatment) that must be considered to avoid complications or adverse effects.

If you are ever unsure about whether a treatment is suitable due to a medical condition, allergy, or other health concern, we will not proceed with the treatment. Instead, we will ask you to consult your doctor for professional advice. Please note that we are not medically trained and cannot provide medical guidance in uncertain situations.

Common Contra-Indications

Non-invasive body contouring should be avoided if you have:

  • Metal implants or devices – Pacemakers, artificial joints, or other devices in the treatment area may be affected by the procedure.

  • BMI above 30 – Treatments may be less effective if the amount of fat in the area is too high.
